General Terms and Conditions

Last amended: November 1, 2025, valid from November 1, 2025

These are the General Terms and Conditions of midwife Regina Peters-Trippner, Thüler Str. 23b, 26169 Friesoythe, E-Mail:regina.peters-trippner@gmx.de (hereinafter referred to as midwife)

1. Scope of application

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by the above-mentioned midwifery practice.

2. Courses

2.1 Registration, conclusion of contract, course location

Course inquiries and registrations are made via my mini homepage: https://peterstrippner.hebamio.de

Once your course request has been received, your place is reserved. You will receive the exact course description and conditions of participation from the midwife by email.

The course location is specified in the respective course description.

2.2 Course fees

The midwife bills the course fees for health insurance courses (birth preparation for pregnant women and postnatal recovery) to the statutory health insurance fund.

As statutory health insurance companies prohibit midwives from charging insured persons for any kind of cancellation costs under the new midwifery assistance contract, the midwife bears the sole risk for the economic viability of health insurance courses. For this reason, the midwife reserves the right to cancel courses with fewer than 8 participants; this decision may also be made by the midwife at short notice after the course has started. This rule applies in particular to postnatal exercise classes!

2.2.3 Payment of the partner fee for antenatal classes

The partner fee for antenatal classes must always be paid by the participant. Midwives can never bill partner fees to the participant's health insurance provider.

You transfer the partner fee to my specified account in order to register for the respective course. Please refer to the respective course description for detailed information.

The partner fee for the birth preparation course is reimbursed directly to the insured person by some statutory health insurance companies as a service. Please check with your health insurance company.

2.3 Cancellation policy

2.3.1 You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. No costs will be incurred within 14 days of registration.

The withdrawal period is 14 days after the midwife receives the registration via the midwifery software (conclusion of contract). To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform the midwife (Regina Peters-Trippner, Thüler Straße 23b, 26169 Friesoythe, Germany, or by email: regina.peters-trippner@gmx.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. Upon withdrawal, the midwife will refund the fees paid in advance by bank transfer to the participant's account within 21 days. From 15 days after registration, the midwife will charge a processing fee of €15.00. This applies exclusively to courses outside the midwife assistance contract, i.e., IGeL courses and partner fees.

2.3.2 No right of withdrawal

A binding registration cannot be canceled within 2 weeks before the start of the course. The partner fee or course fees for IGeL courses are non-refundable!

2.4. Course postponement and cancellation by the midwife

2.4.1 The midwife reserves the right to relocate or cancel the course location and individual dates in the event of illness or unforeseeable events such as natural disasters, epidemic/pandemic-related restrictions, damage to her practice premises, and damage to hardware and software necessary for the course (e.g., for online courses). Face-to-face courses can be converted entirely into online courses if this enables the midwife to deliver the course in full in terms of course content.

2.4.2 The midwife reserves the right to only run the course if it is economically viable for her. A course is only economically viable if enough participants have made a binding booking for the course. If the midwife cancels the course, she will refund the full fees paid to the course participants by bank transfer within 14 days of cancellation, without deducting any processing fees.

3. Services provided by several midwives
If you use the services of other freelance midwives, the reimbursable quotas of the statutory health insurance funds may be exceeded under certain circumstances.
Please inform the midwife of all services you have used from other midwives. Please inform the midwife of all services you have used from other midwives. Otherwise, the midwife will have to retroactively invoice you privately for services provided that exceed the quota according to the contract for the provision of midwifery care in accordance with § 134a SGB V.

4. Midwifery services during pregnancy and the postpartum period

In order to receive midwifery services during pregnancy, the postpartum period, and breastfeeding, a treatment contract must always be concluded in advance between the midwife and the pregnant woman/new mother/breastfeeding mother.
